Shaheer Sheikh shared pictures from the sets of Jhansi Ki Rani to wish former co-star Ashnoor Kaur a happy birthday. Ashnoor turned 16 on Sunday, May 3.
Shaheer posted a throwback picture where Ashnoor looks adorable. He captioned it, “Happy birthday to this little one, who’s all grown up now … but the charm and innocence is still intact! May you achieve all that you’ve dreamt of and keep inspiring others to tread the right path. #happybirthday @ashnoorkaur.”
In the second picture, little Ashnoor is holding a rifle at actor Govi Tyler, who played British soldier in Jhansi Ki Rani. Shaheer played Nana Sahib while Ashnoor played Prachi in the historical show. Kratika Sengar-starrer Jhansi Ki Rani aired on Zee TV from 2009-2011. Shaheer Sheikh was later replaced on the show by actor Satyajit Dubey.
Ashnoor thanked Shaheer and wrote, “Aww!! Love love love this one! How sweet…Thank you so much Shaheer bhaiya (sic).”
Actor Govi Tyler commented on the post and wrote, “She was the cutest bro! She made that whole shooting experience such a delight both on and off set (sic).”
Ashnoor celebrated her birthday with the watchmen of her building. The actress shared a picture and a video of the same with a note that read, “A different experience this birthday in a lockdown… Somehow felt good… Celebrated with our Corona fighters, the people working for us, the watchmen(of my society) and the smile on their faces made up for all the restrictions! #lockdownbirthday #sweet16 #howicelebrated #BirthdayInALockdown (sic).”
Ashnoor Kaur was last seen in Patiala Babes, which has gone off-air due to the lockdown. Shaheer Sheikh is currently a part of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke.
