India has been under government-mandated lockdown since March 25 to contain the spread of the novel coronavirus. Stepping out of home unnecessarily is a strict no. In fact, going out to buy groceries and essentials should also be done in a careful manner and, at a time, only one person from a family should step out to do so.
Nagpur Police imparted the same message on Twitter on Tuesday. However, the police department did so in a rather hilarious way. They posted a still from the 2007 film Welcome wherein Majnu Bhai (played by Anil Kapoor) says “Tum log bhi chalo na mere saath”.
“When even a single person can do the essential shopping, don’t be a Majnu for your friends,” Nagpur Police wrote in the caption.

Basically, Nagpur Police urged people to not ask their friends or family members to accompany them while shopping.
Netizens loved the tweet and dropped in comments to express their thoughts on it. While many users were in splits, others praised the creativity of the police department.
