Mumbai: Fire breaks out at quarantine hotel in Nagpada, 2 fire tenders rushed to spot


A fire has broken out at the Rippon Hotel, in south Mumbai’s Nagpada, which was being used as a quarantine centre for coronavirus patients. Two fire tenders have been put into service to douse the fire.

The fire is reportedly confined to the lodging room of the hotel having ground plus three floors.

Most of the patients have been evacuated safely and a search operation is on for any missing person.
