LeT terrorist arrested as forces bust hideout in J&K’s Budgam

One Over-Ground Worker (OGW) affiliated to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was arrested on Saturday as security forces busted a terrorist hideout in Arizal village of Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir.

One Over-Ground Worker (OGW) affiliated to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) was arrested on Saturday as security forces busted a terrorist hideout in Arizal village of Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir.

The arrested terrorist is identified as Zahoor Wani. The hideout was found 200 to 300 metres away from his house.

Arms and ammunition were also recovered from Wani’s possession.

Zahoor Wani is a close associate of Yusuf Qantroo, a LeT militant.

Zahoor Wani was providing logistics, hideout and transportation to the LeT team led by Yusuf.

Yusuf mainly operates in Budgam and Baramulla area.

More arrests and recoveries are expected.
