As cricket has come to a standstill all across the world due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, cricketers and teams have been coming up with innovative ways to survive the forced lockdown in many countries. India is no different with many of its star cricketers posting their daily routines on their social media pages. Never one to shy away from his fan following, left-handed opener Shikhar Dhawan too has been engaging his fans through his various social media posts.

Dhawan on Wednesday shared an adorable on Instagram where he was seen playing cricket indoors. The video also had commentary inputs along with crowd noises inserted in the background of the past making for great viewing.

Zoravar was seen bowling to his father in the video as Shikhar defended the ball well on the off-side. Shikhar captioned the video: Quarantine Premier League ka sabse gripping moment Dhawan vs Dhawan.

From washing clothes to playing and training with his kids at home, Dhawan has been keeping himself busy with all kinds of different activities.

In another video, he posted online last week, saw him dancing with his son Zoravar on a popular Bollywood song called ‘Daddy Cool’.

“Life is so much fun with this mastikhor insaan! Sachi bolu toh daddy aur beta dono hi cool! Love this little one,” Dhawan captioned the video on Instagram.

The sporting calendar all over the world has taken a major hit with all big events and tournaments suspended or cancelled due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games remains the biggest sporting event that had to be postponed to 2021 due to the deadly virus while in India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday confirmed the suspension of the IPL 2020 until further notice.

The IPL 2020, which was scheduled to get underway on March 29, was initially suspended until April 15 after the country went on a 21-day lockdown in a bid to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
